I have not read the first book in this series, as I was reading the first chapter or so I felt a little lost.  However I was able to pick up the characters and the storyline quickly.  I enjoyed this book.  It was a nice enjoyable read.

The plot was  a good wholesome plot.  Two different “families” working together to become one and share a ranch.  It was interesting to find out how the Cassie was tied to the Engstrom’s.  It was an easy to follow plot and clean and wholesome.

I feel in love with the characters in the book.  I was sad when the book ended because I wanted to know more about the characters and what is going to happen next.  I hope there is a book three someday soon!

I enjoyed reading this Historical Fiction.  It made me want to read the first book, which I just received from the library.  I am excited to read it and learn even more about the characters!

I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

And yes, I received this book for free from Bethany House for this review.  But I told the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!
